The world-famous Gewürztraminer

Gewürztraminer has roots all over the world. Here in Tramin is its native land.
Gewürztraminer is an excellent wine with distinctive aromas that make possible combinations with both Mediterranean and Asian cuisine.
Here in Tramin, it is considered an icon.
Willi Stürz is the oenologist and director of the Tramin Winery. Under his leadership, our winery has embarked on a path towards excellence.
The new Gewürztraminer from the Tramin Winery is called ‘Epokale’. It is a wine, which is aged for seven years in a mine at 2000 metres. In 2018, Epokale 2009 was awarded 100/100 by Robert Parker and is thus the first white wine with the highest score in Italy.
